Corbin & Wertz, Irvine, has acquired Murchison & Marek, a Long Beach-based tax and accounting firm.
Corbin & Wertz’s services include tax preparation and planning, business management consulting and information technology consulting. It has been pursuing an acquisition strategy for the past two years, buying smaller accounting and financial-services shops.
