Lake Forest-based Cooper Cos. said Tuesday that its CooperVision contact lens unit has set up marketing, distribution and administrative operations in Singapore and Malaysia.
Cooper also said it established a corporate office in Singapore.
Cooper, which saw its stock take a beating on Wall Street last month after announcing a couple of acquisitions and issuing a weaker financial outlook, said the Pacific Rim is CooperVision’s fastest-growing market.
CooperVision, which operates in Australia, Japan and Korea, also plans to boost its presence in China next year.
