China posted its biggest trade surplus in nine years in December, data showed on Tuesday, as the country’s booming exports showed little sign of trailing off. Exports in December rose 32.7% from a year earlier. That compared with a rise of 45.9% in the year through November, though analysts said the slower growth was due to the fact that exports in December 2003 were particularly robust.
