Newport Beach-based American Vanguard Corp., a seller of pesticides, antibiotics, weed killers and other chemicals, said Tuesday its shares are moving to the New York Stock Exchange from the American Stock Exchange.
American Vanguard is set to debut on the Big Board on March 8 with the ticker “AVD.”
The company counts a market value of about $535 million and yearly sales of nearly $200 million.
Most of American Vanguard’s products are older lines acquired from big chemical companies.
