Ambassadors International Inc., a publicly traded travel company, has expanded its convention services group, which had been operating as a separate subsidiary called Ambassadors Performance Housing.
The expansion includes the addition of registration services, the expansion of technology services, and the combination and expansion of service operations into one location. The group has also been renamed Ambassadors Services Group Inc. The addition of registration services resulted from the recent acquisition of Advanced Registration Systems Inc.
The company is headquartered in Spokane, Wash., and the accounting division will be located in Newport Beach. The convention services group, which had been operating out of Boston, Atlanta and Smyrna, Ga., will be consolidated in Atlanta.
John Ueberroth is CEO of Ambassadors International, and his brother, Peter, is chairman of the company.
