The Forum for Corporate Directors held its annual Director of the Year awards dinner at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point on Feb. 17. The five honorees included directors from financial, technology, dining and retail companies. Irvine-based Edwards Lifesciences Corp. Chief Executive Michael Mussallem served as host for the evening. More than 450 people representing 125 companies were on hand. The Newport Beach-based group has honored nearly 90 executives during the 16 years that it has been putting on the event.
