Integrated ProfitMax Corp., Costa Mesa, a spin-off of EPS Solutions has acquired EPS Travel Solutions and Integrated Procurement Solutions.
Last month, EPS transferred its healthcare audit and recovery business and its procurements businesses to ProfitMax.
EPS founders Chris Massey and Erik Watts have resigned from EPS Solutions to run ProfitMax. David Hoffman, the founder and CEO of executive search firm DHR International, has assumed the CEO duties of EPS.
EPS Travel Solutions, formerly the T & E; Group, was acquired in 1999 by EPS. Gerard Smith, who was senior partner of T & E; and headed the T & E; unit under EPS, has been named president of Integrated Procurement Solutions. That company will offer clients the opportunity to gain purchasing power in a range of business commodities beyond travel management that are expected to include computer equipment, office supplies, office furniture, telecommunications and delivery services.
EPS Travel Solutions’ clients include Cisco Systems, Mattel and Peoplesoft.
Integrated Procurement Solutions, which provides airfare auditing and small-package freight management programs, will maintain offices in Costa Mesa.
ProfitMax has more than 200 employees in eight locations and plans other acquisitions this year. EPS is headquartered in Chicago and has more than 1,500 employees in 100 locations across the U.S.
