Minaberry Family Trust B paid $11.7 million to HLB Properties for the Rancho Ortega Plaza at 27201 to 27231 Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano. The plaza is a 23,259-square-foot, mixed-use shopping center. The plaza, which is full, sold for about $500 per square foot (see Real Estate column, page 79). Jerry Brown of Rancon Real Estate represented the buyer. Damon Wyler, Brian Sperry and Bill Casas of Sperry Van Ness represented the seller.
Carlwyn LLC paid $4.9 million to Miraloma Properties II LLC seller for a 29,600-square-foot industrial building at 1639 E. Miraloma Ave. in Placentia. The building sold for about $165 per square foot. Kana Pipeline Inc., an installer of water, sewer and storm drain lines, will occupy the building. Wes Hunnicutt of Cresa Partners represented the buyer. Daum Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller.
Daniel Hales of investment group 2372 Morse Avenue LLC paid $4.4 million to Morse Avenue Partners LLC for an 11,250-square-foot office building at 2372 Morse Ave. in Irvine. The building sold for $390 per square foot. Citadel Law Offices will occupy the single-story building. David Romero of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. represented the buyer. Jack McNutt, Tom Taylor and Gary McCardell of Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the seller.
Buffalo III LLC paid $2 million to Kevin Sanchez for a 6,885-square-foot office building at 27432 Aliso Creek Road in Aliso Viejo. The building sold for nearly $300 per square foot. The building will be the new corporate headquarters for Mission Viejo-based Restaurants on the Run. Jeff Carr and Keith Black of CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. represented the buyer and the seller.
Consolidated Capital Inc. paid $1.65 million to Civic Plaza Capital Corp. for a 4,897-square-foot retail building at 621 W. 19th St. in Costa Mesa. The building sold for $337 per square foot. Consolidated Capital represented itself in the deal. Allen Dehnke and Ali Murtaza of Peninsula Investment Real Estate represented the seller.
An undisclosed buyer paid an undisclosed sum to Bacchus Development for a 4,950-foot building at the Bacchus Office Park in Irvine. Ata Broumand of Prudential California Realty represented the buyer. Bacchus represented itself.
Proview Technology subleased an 84,295-square-foot industrial building at 7372 Doig Drive in Garden Grove. The deal is valued at $1.6 million. Ryan Peterson, Chip Wright and Brian Drevere of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant and landlord All Group Inc.
SES Insurance Services leased 8,000 square feet of office space at 1120 W. La Veta Ave. in Orange. The deal is valued $1.5 million. Tom Taylor and Gary McArdell of Grubb & Ellis represented the tenant. Landlord Jamison Properties Inc. represented itself.
Fasthold Capital Inc. leased 1,985 square feet of office space at 1835 W. Orangewood Ave. in Orange. The three-year lease is valued at $1.5 million. Bryan Miller, Jonmark Fabiano, George Thomson, Chris Shea and Marshal Vogt of Lee & Associates-Orange Inc. represented both the tenant and the landlord ARI Orangewood LP.
