Brookhollow Group and Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. completed the sale of 47 office and flex units, totaling 245,000 square feet, at the Coppertree Business Park in Costa Mesa. The buildings at 151 Kalmus Drive sold out in 13 months for a total of $66 million, or about $269 per square foot. Jeff Chiate and Rick Ellison of Cushman & Wakefield Inc. represented Brookhollow.
Don Wilson Builders paid $33 million to Goodyear Land Holdings LLC for 144,185 square feet of industrial space at 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 Goodyear in Irvine. The space sold for nearly $229 per square foot. The location is part of a newly constructed multitenant park made up of 39 units. Mike Harte of Voit Commerical Brokerage LP represented the buyer. Gregg Haly and Jeff Carr of CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. represented the seller.
CRP-2 Monarch LLC paid $24 million to Westcore Properties LLC for a 277,037-square-foot industrial building at 12822 Monarch St. in Garden Grove. The building sold for about $87 per square foot. Westcore considered more than 10 offers for the building before choosing CRP-2. Mike Bouma, Rob Mitchell and Trevor Pavone of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented the buyer and the seller in the transaction.
Marc Spizzirri paid nearly $5.3 million to an undisclosed seller for the Miramar Theatre in San Clemente. The 26,325-square-foot theater sold for $200 per square foot. The building has been vacant for more than 10 years. Dennis Weisberg and Jack Hopkins of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services represented the seller.
Kieth and Kelly Thomas paid $520,450 to Huntington-Monterey LLC for a 1,487-square-foot office condominium at 18377 Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach. The condo sold for $350 per square foot. Judy Belland, Mary Goss and Robert Kehiayan of Investment R/E Source Inc. represented the buyer. William Hoyman and John Burke of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller.
An unnamed buyer paid an undisclosed amount to Bacchus Development Corp. for a 4,950-square-foot building at the Bacchus office park at 16510 Bake Parkway in Irvine. The office park is 90% sold. Three 4,950-square foot buildings remain for sale. Ata Boroumand of Prudential California Realty represented the buyer. Bacchus Development represented itself.
