Vaccine Pace Plateaus

Orange County has administered north of 3.2 million COVID-19 vaccine doses according to new California Department of Public Health data as of Friday.

About 80,000 vaccines have been administered in the past week, or nearly 11,400 per day, about the same distribution as the week prior.

That’s down from about 250,000 doses per week last month.

The county indicates more than 1.6 million OC residents are fully vaccinated as of June 9, having received both doses of Pfizer and Moderna, or the single Johnson & Johnson dose.

That’s up slightly from a week ago.
