Fountain Valley-based MemorialCare Health System and UC Irvine Health said today that they will form an affiliation in a bid to expand the healthcare services they offer throughout Orange County.
UC Irvine Health is made up of the University of California, Irvine’s clinical, medical education and research enterprises, including the 412-bed UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. MemorialCare’s properties include 218-bed Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley and Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, with campuses in Laguna Hills and San Clemente and 325 beds between them.
