Health Net Inc. has signed new multi-year deals with Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, Los Alamitos Medical Center, Placentia-Linda Hospital and eight other California hospitals.
Fountain Valley, Los Alamitos and Placentia-Linda all are owned by Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp.
Woodland Hills-based Health Net had ended its contracts with Tenet last month after the parties were unable to come to terms. Health Net said in a release that the new two-year agreements contracts reinstate and retroactively cover the Tenet hospitals “as if there was no termination.”
