Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center appointed Kenneth McFarland chief executive.
McFarland had served the same role at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where he stepped down early last year. He assumed the role of Fountain Valley’s interim chief executive in September, when former Chief Executive Joseph Badalian left for Redwood City-based Verity Health System.
Fountain Valley provides general and critical care, and has 400 beds. It’s part of Dallas-based Tenet Health.
