Mission Viejo nursing home operator Ensign Group Inc. said today that it bought Connected Home Health of Portland, Oregon. A purchase price was not disclosed.
Connected was previously known as Portland Home Health. It will be operated by a unit of Cornerstone Healthcare Inc., Ensign’s home health and hospice subsidiary.
Ensign has home healthcare units in Dallas, Denver, Salt Lake City, Idaho and Cherokee, Iowa.
The company is “actively seeking” additional acquisition opportunities of skilled nursing, assisted living and other healthcare businesses, Christopher Christensen, Ensign’s chief executive, said in a release.
