Clinton Set to Headline UCI Rally

Former President Bill Clinton is expected to make the rounds in Orange County today.

Clinton is expected to participate in a rally today at the University of California, Irvine, to endorse several Democrats running for Congress in Southern California.

The rally, expected to begin at 5p.m., is open to the public.

Clinton also has been mentioned as a likely presence at Goldman Sachs’ Builders &amp Innovators Summit, a multi-day conference being held this week in Newport Beach, according to other attendees of the event

The summit, being held at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, is invitation only. Other attendees are said to include JetBlue Airways founder David Neeleman, Oracle’s Larry Ellison, and America Online founder Steve Case.

The event “is designed to bring together the one hundred most intriguing entrepreneurs from a diverse set of industries and organizations with a group of highly successful business leaders,” according to Goldman Sachs marketing materials for the event.
