Hidden in a small strip mall along Brookhurst Street is one of the most interesting and unusual restaurants in Orange County.
Taste of Beauty, a plant-based fine dining gem in Fountain Valley, has debuted a new eight-course tasting menu that incorporates concepts from eight geographical landscapes and blends flavors and ingredients from different global cuisines.
Taste of Beauty’s chef and co-owner is George Guo, who has devoted himself to changing the perception of plant-based cuisine.
His goal is to transform the canvas of a plate into a masterpiece of a meal. He combines flavors and techniques from his home culture and worldwide to expand the possibility of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
“Our new tasting menu pays homage to the breathtaking beauty of this planet we call home,” said Guo.
“Each course represents our planet’s diverse landscape, and it also blends flavors from cuisines worldwide. Just like every culture and cuisine are connected, we are all earthlings sharing the same responsibility for our mother nature.”
The Taste of Beauty menu changes with the season, but whatever dishes Chef Guo creates, they will still tell delicious culinary tales.
