Wienerschnitzel Launches Franchise Incentive Program

Hot dog restaurant chain lowers entry costs to spur expansion

Irvine-based Weinerschnitzel is launching a franchise initiative for its 2023 expansion plans, dubbed Hot Dogs for Profits.

The incentive program aims to lower the cost of entry for new franchisees to the hot dog restaurant chain. Weinerschnitzel’s current focus is in the Midwest markets and a few Southern states.

The program will offer discounted agreements to open three stores for a limited time. This includes incentives like a $64,000 development and franchisee fee for all three stores and reduced royalties that begin at one percent and will increase after the first year. Others include marketing spend from owners Galardi Group Inc. and manager training fees.

“As we buckle up for a busy 2023, we are immensely proud of our advancements that  continue to streamline our operations and profitability model for our dedicated franchisee,” Chief Executive J.R. Galardi said in a statement.

Wienerschnitzel reported entry in at least four new markets last year, which will open its first stores in 2023. Currently, there are almost 350 existing franchised locations across 10 states.
