A new Fogo de Chão restaurant will open at Huntington Beach’s Bella Terra shopping center on Sept. 25.
This will be the second location in Orange County for the Brazilian steakhouse and is a part of Fogo de Chão’s plans for additional expansion in Southern California. The Dallas-based company reported a 15% annual growth rate due to its current development pipeline.
Its first local restaurant opened at the Irvine Spectrum in 2019.
“We’re excited to expand our footprint in Orange County and to continue to share the culinary art of Churrasco,” Chief Executive Barry McGowan said in a statement.
Led by General Manager Cristiano Machado, the new restaurant aims to provide over 100 local jobs in Surf City. The menu includes bone-in ribeye, lamb chops and other premium and classic cuts with Brazilian side dishes.
Bella Terra ranked No. 19 on the Business Journal’s list of largest shopping centers last year with an estimated $121 million in taxable sales for 2022.
