Burger Boss LLC in Corona plans to open at least five corporate-owned locations in Orange County by year-end.
The fast casual chain sells custom burgers, fries and salads via touchscreens; beef is grass-fed and ingredients are locally sourced. It has restaurants open in Norco and Riverside.
The first OC site opens in Mission Viejo this month. A second is scheduled for Lake Forest in July.
The company has also agreed to open stores in Cypress, Newport Beach and Tustin and it has said it wants up to 12 restaurants in Orange County within the next year.
Burger Boss was founded in 2011 by Mo Farha.
