Juice It Up Taps Brakes on Royalties

Irvine-based Juice It Up said it will continue waiving royalty and marketing fees for franchisees through at least the end of this month.

The chain said it began eliminating the costs to franchisees beginning mid-March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent shelter-in-place orders. The offering is available to franchisees across the Juice It Up system.

Juice It Up, owned by SJB Brands LLC, ranked No. 34 on last year’s Business Journal list of the largest restaurant operators with $33.3 million in sales across 83 locations.
