Irvine-based Juice It Up said it would add three franchised locations in Texas.
The agreement with Heath, Texas-based EJBT LLC means the juice and smoothie chain will have one store open and five in development there.
The new units will be in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area, the company said.
The first opens this fall in Rockwall, Texas. The other two locations are tentatively planned for the cities of Rowlett and Forney.
The Business Journal estimates Juice It Up’s sales at about $29 million.
