Juice It Up Adds in Inland Empire

Juice It Up plans in June to open a new franchised location in San Bernardino County, purchased by a husband-and-wife team that also franchises three Wienerschnitzel locations in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Both Juice It Up, a juice bar chain, and Wienerschnitzel, a fast food hot dog chain, are based in Irvine.

The new franchisee, Juice It Up Rialto LLC, is owned by John Davis and Sylvia Quirino; their hot dog locations are in Rialto, Ontario, and Corona.

It costs about $167,000 to $326,000 to open a Juice It Up location, franchise filings show.

Juice It Up had about $30 million in systemwide sales from 86 locations in 2015—about one-fourth of them are in Orange County—and was ranked No. 34 on the Business Journal’s 2016 list of OC-based restaurant chains.

The 2017 list publishes at the end of June.
