WHY: Took lead roles in 2002 at private-label bottled water supplier founded by father in 1963. Company founded in Irvine, now HQ’d in Ontario. Largest family-owned bottled water firm in country.
RECENT: Investing $90M in Temple, Texas, with a 450K-SF facility. Construction on the bottling facility began earlier this year on a 50-acre site at the Temple Industrial Park. Will create 70 new jobs with operations due to get underway toward the end of the year.
QUOTABLE: Other Peykoff family members ran their own bottled water companies in prior years. On the competition, one told L.A. Times in 1988, “As they say, blood is thicker than water.”
