Whittier Trust, a private family office in South Pasadena that serves 349 families and has $11 billion in assets under advisement, has appointed Jim Doti to its board of directors.
“Jim is a pioneer in the field of economic forecasting and one of the most respected voices on business and the economy,” Whittier Trust President and Chief Executive David Dahl said.
Doti joined Chapman University’s faculty in 1974 and served as its president from 1991 to 2016. He is currently president emeritus of the school, where he also teaches and holds the Donald Bren Distinguished Chair of Business and Economics.
