REAL ESTATE DEALS – September 30, 2013

SALE

New York-based private equity firm Blackstone Group LP recently sold the Newport Plaza office building in Newport Beach to Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP.

The 107,472-square-foot building is at 895 Dove St.

The five-story property was 98% leased at the time of sale, according to data services provider CoStar Group Inc.

Brokers involved in the deal included HFF LP’s Ryan Gallagher, Richard Plummer, Michael McCann and Tim Geiman, a team that represented the seller. The broker for the buyer was undisclosed.
