Paciolan in Irvine will buy TicketsWest and West Coast Entertainment in Spokane, Wash., on undisclosed terms, a trade journal reported.
Paciolan software processes some 120 million ticket sales a year for 500 venues, including 120 collegiate athletic departments, 75 performing arts venues and 100 professional sports and arena clients.
TicketsWest provides call center support, retail ticket distribution at about 300 locations, digital marketing and website support for events and venues. It has branch offices in Portland, Ore. and Denver.
WestCoast Entertainment produces and promotes 50 to 100 shows a year—its roster has included sports events and musical festivals—mainly in the Northwest and, through a partnership called Troika, on Broadway.
College sports marketer Learfield Communications LLC in Plano, Texas, bought Paciolan in June from Comcast Corp. in Philadelphia.
Paciolan was at one time part of Ticketmaster, and was sold as part of that firm’s merger with Live Nation Entertainment in L.A. in 2010.
