Huntington Beach-based Mission Critical Electronics bought Purkeys Fleet Electric in Arkansas.

Mission Critical makes electric-power products under several brands; Purkeys makes battery-charging technology for heavy-duty truck fleets.

Mission Critical is owned by Newport Beach-based private equity investors Windjammer Capital.
