Gold dipped 0.1% to $1,886.50.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury decreased 1.6% to 0.93%.
TECHNOLOGY
Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) rose 7.6% to $5.92 and a $1.2 billion market cap. The company, which supplies renewable natural gas, announced new partnerships Monday including plans to develop, own and operate new renewable natural gas facilities along with BP Products North America. Shares are currently trading at about six times their average daily volume.
RESTAURANTS
Shares of Lake Forest-based Del Taco Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: TACO) led gains among Orange County restaurants, rising 2.7% to $9.39 and a $349 million market cap. Shares for the restaurant operator have increased nearly 60% in the past six months.
BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: BJRI) also rose during Monday midday trading, increasing 3.2% to $36.91 and a $818 million market cap.
