The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond rose 2.4% to 0.849%.
The price of gold dropped 2% to $1,836.10 an ounce.
Crude oil was up 1.3% to $42.99 a barrel.
TECHNOLOGY
Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) jumped 13% to $3.93 and a $780 million market cap. Shares of Clean Energy, which supplies renewable natural gas, have nearly quadrupled since their 52-week low of $1.05 in March. Volume of 4.4 million shares was almost four times the daily average.
TRADE SHOWS
Emerald Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: EEX) rose 10% to $4.42 and a $316 million market cap. The stock price of the San Juan Capistrano producer of trade shows is still down about 60% since the start of the year.
SERVICES
Montrose Enviromental Group Inc. (NYSE: MEG) fell 13% to $29.25 and a $733 million market cap. The Irvine-based provider of environmental services earlier today announced some existing shareholders, including Oaktree Capital Management LP, intend to sell 4.9 million shares in a secondary offering.Â
