Aliso Viejo-based Microsemi Corp. said that James V. Mazzo has resigned from its board of directors.

Mazzo was added to a federal grand jury indictment on insider trading charges by the U.S. Department of Justice on Wednesday.
Mazzo, through his attorney, has denied the government’s allegations.
