L Squared’s Raptor Makes Another Buy

Adds King of Woodland Hills

L Squared Capital Partners in Newport Beach said its portfolio company Raptor Scientific has acquired Woodland Hills-based King Nutronics Corp., a developer of test and measurement instruments and equipment specializing in the fields of pressure, temperature, force, and other areas of metrology. No financial details were released.

“The acquisition will enable Raptor Scientific to continue to grow by offering our new and existing customers a family of product lines that are unmatched in the industry,” said Derek Coppinger, CEO of Raptor Scientific in a statement today.

The Raptor platform results from the prior acquisition and integration of three companies: Space Electronics, Sensor Concepts, and TestVonics.
