Irvine-based software company Mavenlink Inc. has raised $19 million in a recent funding round.
The latest investment was led by San Francisco-based Carrick Capital Partners LP and Silicon Valley Bank in Santa Clara.
Mavenlink, which keeps an engineering headquarters in San Francisco, provides cloud-based software and services for project management and team collaboration.
It said it would use the recent investment to “accelerate product innovation, market penetration and global market share expansion.”
Mavenlink was founded in 2008 by Ray Grainger, Roger Neel and Sean Crafts, who serve as chief executive, chief technical officer and chief customer officer, respectively.
It introduced the first of its products in 2010 and now serves about 600,000 users globally. Its other investment rounds include raising $3.9 million in 2011 and securing another $7 million in December 2013.
