Historic Theater Could Become Food Hall

The Miramar Theater on El Camino Real in San Clemente sold for $7.9 million to Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Fortuitous Partners LLC, and could be redeveloped into a food hall.

The historic site and a nearby bowling alley have some approvals for redevelopment; the Fortuitous is said to want to maintain those and it has a history of building food halls and restaurant projects.

The theater dates to 1938 and the bowling alley to 1946.

For details on the deal, see the Dec. 23 print edition of the Business Journal.
