The home, which sits on .43 acre, sold Jan. 2 for $7.3 million, off its March asking price of $8.9 million.
The six-bedroom, six-bath, 6,800-square-foot home has a formal dining room, a music room, two private offices, and a kitchen-family room combo with banquet seating. It has a gated entry, flagstone driveway and motor court.
The grounds include a pool with a spa, swim-up bar, and an outdoor entertaining area with a palapa.

The estate at 15 Skycrest in Newport Coast’s Pelican Crest community is situated on one of the neighborhood’s largest flat lots—29,747 square feet—and offers panoramic views of the city and the mountains, as well as a slice of ocean.
It sold on Jan. 21 for $7.1 million, shy of its October asking price of $7.5 million.
The 9,547-square-foot home has five bedrooms and seven baths, a chef’s kitchen, six fireplaces, a home theater, private study, and seven view balconies.
Outside, stone pathways wind through landscaped gardens to a swimming pool and spa. Other external features include an entertainment area with a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen.

The home and property at 7 Beachcrest in Newport Coast provides luxury and privacy.

The five-bedroom, six-bath home on a 12,600-square-foot lot sold on Jan. 17 for $5.3 million, under its November asking price of $5.7 million.
It offers 180-degree views of the ocean, Catalina and Palos Verdes. Its features include a wine cellar, a whole-house sound system, outdoor fountains, two outdoor gazebos, an outdoor kitchen, and professionally landscaped grounds with palm trees and lush tropical plants.
The home’s design makes extensive use of marble, granite and brick, as well as hardwoods, custom carpeting, and wood floor inlays.
