Anaheim-based Credit Union of Southern California bought Fairview Employees Federal Credit Union in Costa Mesa on undisclosed terms.
Fairview Employees Federal Credit Union’s lone branch in Costa Mesa will remain open under the Credit Union of Southern California name, according to its website. The newly combined organization has nine branches in Orange County, including locations in Anaheim, Brea, Garden Grove, and Newport Beach.
Credit Union of Southern California has about $989.9 million in assets and $6 million in net income in the first nine months of this year. It had $784.4 million in assets and $6.7 million in profit for the same period a year ago.
Fairview Employees Federal Credit Union had about $14.1 million in assets and $2,332 in profit for the nine months ended Sept. 30.
Credit Union of Southern California ranked No. 4 on the Business Journal’s list of OC-Based credit unions; Fairview Employees Federal Credit Union ranked No. 18.
