Costa Mesa-based Pacific Premier Bancorp Inc. has appointed Jeff Jones as chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Jones replaces Ronald Skipper, who retired last month after 15 years of serving as chairman.
Jones has been a director of the bank holding company since 2006. He also is a managing partner of accounting firm Frazer LLP in Brea, where he has worked since in 1977.
He has served as a director of Moore Stephens North America Inc., a Saddle Brook, N.J.-based association of accounting firms.
Pacific Premier’s subsidiary, Pacific Premier Bank, has about $1.07 billion in assets and is one of the largest banks based in Orange County.
