Aliso Viejo-based Apex Parks Group bought Indiana Beach Amusement Resort in Monticello, Ind., on undisclosed terms.
Apex, an operator of family entertainment centers and water parks, now operates 17 properties in five states: California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey and Indiana
Other recent acquisitions include Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor and Outdoor Water Park in West Berlin, N.J., a deal completed in April.
Most of the company’s parks are in California and most are Boomers family entertainment centers.
Apex has two Boomers in Orange County, in Irvine and Fountain Valley.
It formed in November with backing from New York-based private equity firm Broad Sky Partners and Edgewater Funds in Chicago and bought 15 properties from Newport Beach-based Palace Entertainment Inc.
