Allied Universal Buys Dallas Firm

Santa Ana’s Allied Universal, the largest U.S. security firm, acquired Point 2 Point Global Security Inc. which has $50 million in annual sales.

Founded in 2002 by Stephanie L. Point, Dallas-based Point 2 Point has 2,500 employees who protect major corporations, high profile executives and government entities from physical and reputational risk. The acquisition price wasn’t disclosed.

“Acquiring Point 2 Point Global Security aligns with our strategic and long-term goals for identifying strong companies that offer a host of services and that are growing,” Allied Universal Chief Executive Steve Jones said in a statement.

Allied Universal has annual revenue topping $7.25 billion and employs 210,000 in the U.S., Canada, Great Britain and some Latin American countries.
