Alliant Buys 3 Firms in Oklahoma

CEO sees expansion opportunities

Alliant Insurance Services, the largest insurance broker by revenue in Orange County, announced three acquisitions in Oklahoma as it expands into that state. Terms weren’t released.

It acquired 3000 Insurance Group, a retail property and casualty insurance and employee benefits firm based in Oklahoma City. 3IG, which provides commercial risk management and personal lines insurance coverages, has connections to some of the state’s largest professional associations, Alliant said.

“We look forward to providing additional specialized resources and support to enhance the team’s delivery of insurance and risk management solutions to its client base,” Chairman and Chief Executive Tom Corbett said in a statement.

Corbett last month told the Business Journal that his firm is on a $4 billion run rate this year.

Alliant also recently acquired two firms based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

It bought Commercial Risk Group, a retail property and casualty insurance agency, and The Arrow Group, a retail property and casualty insurance agency serving the risk management needs of a local and regional client base.
