Webster University in Irvine will offer a Master’s in cybersecurity starting in late October.
Webster said it started the program at a Colorado Springs campus in 2014 at the request of the U.S. military and has since expanded to other campuses in its system.
Job postings in cybersecurity jobs have grown 74% since 2007, according to a recent report by labor market data analytics firm Burning Glass Technologies in Boston. Webster’s program will emphasize topics including digital information protection, an electronic-based terrorism and fraud.
Webster also offers an online certificate in Cybersecurity Threat Detection.
