Nearly 300 members of the Orange County business community attended the 21st annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards ceremony on May 26.
The ceremony, held at the Irvine Marriott, honors area individuals who exemplify the American entrepreneurial spirit and contribute to Orange County’s business environment.
Five Point Holdings LLC (NYSE: FPH) founder and Chairman Emeritus Emile Haddad, who delivered the keynote address, discussed the qualities needed in an entrepreneur, and told his journey from Beirut to the U.S. and the events which led to his creation of one of the country’s largest master-planned community developers.
