Genesis Motor North America President and CEO Mark Del Rosso is expected to step down from his role permanently Oct. 1, according to multiple reports.
Del Rosso had been on leave from the Fountain Valley luxury automaker to handle a personal matter, beginning July 1.
Hyundai Motor North America President and CEO José Muñoz stepped in at that time to serve as interim CEO for Genesis. Muñoz is also the global chief operating officer for Hyundai Motor Co.
Del Rosso joined Genesis in October 2019 from Audi of America where he was president.
A spokesperson for Genesis could not be immediately reached for comment.
