Record monthly year-over-year sales continue for Orange County automakers, as the overall industry continues to notch records over 2020.
Hyundai Motor America Inc. of Fountain Valley had sales of 72,465 vehicles in June, up 45% from a year earlier.
Irvine-based Kia America sold 68,486 vehicles, notching a 43.1% gain from a year ago.
Fountain Valley luxury automaker Genesis Motor America Inc. reported 4,054 vehicles sold, a jump of 184% from the year-ago period.
Irvine-based Mazda North American Operations’ June sales were up 28.7% from the year-ago period to 32,605 vehicles.
Electric vehicle makers Karma Automotive and Rivian Automotive, both of Irvine, do not report monthly sales results.
