Laboratory
University Lab Partners (ULP), an Orange County-based premier nonprofit life science incubator and accelerator, is pleased to announce that Sandra J. Miller will serve as its next Executive Director. A Silicon Valley leader with more than 20 years of experience helping startups and corporations achieve success, Miller will guide ULP into the future as it provides state-of-the-art wet lab facilities, global accelerator programs for early-stage life science companies, and workforce development and education for students and early career professionals.
As Executive Director, Miller is responsible for steering the nonprofit’s three-fold mission, which includes the ULP Accelerator Program, which provides support for life science startups and the I-CREATE Accelerator, a global hub for medical device and diagnostics startups within the BARDA Accelerator Network.
Prior to joining ULP, Miller served as CEO of the innovation firm Foundry 415 and co-founded the Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign. She also helped launch powerhouse programs including the Kauffman Foundation’s Lab for Enterprise Creation and Singularity University’s accelerator.
