The Board of Trustees of Laguna College of Art + Design is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Saville as Interim President + CEO, marking an exciting new chapter for Orange County’s leading college of applied arts.
Founded 65 years ago, LCAD has built a strong reputation for academic rigor, industry relevance, and a deep commitment to preparing students for meaningful careers in the creative economy.
Since joining LCAD in 2024 as Vice President of Advancement, Saville has been instrumental in advancing the college’s strategic vision, including the launch of a major capital campaign and the development of a new Innovation Center that will expand opportunities for students and faculty. Drawing on a career spanning some of the country’s leading arts organizations, he brings a nuanced understanding of the role creative institutions play in shaping culture, industry, and community.
The Board looks forward to working alongside Saville as LCAD builds on its legacy and continues to prepare the next generation of creative leaders.
