Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County is pleased to announce the appointment of five dynamic individuals to its Board of Directors—Helena Ferrari, Michael McGee, Gordon Roth, Garett Sleichter, and An Tran.

Helena Ferrari, GPHR, PHR, is a globally certified HR Executive and CEO of The HRrx, a strategic advisory firm specializing in compliance and risk mitigation. With more than 25 years of experience, she partners with companies, CEOs, and boards to navigate high-stakes situations, from mergers and acquisitions to complex employee issues, reducing financial exposure and strengthening leadership.
Michael McGee is a Vice President of Business Management within the Commercial Real Estate group at J.P. Morgan, where he leads a team supporting strategic initiatives. With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, McGee has deep expertise across a range of sectors including finance, business management, risk analytics, and client solutions.
Gordon Roth is a Partner, Member of the Board of Managers & CFO of Roth Capital Partners, LLC, a privately held Investment Bank with 235 employees. Prior to joining Roth Capital in 2000, his career was in public accounting in Des Moines, Iowa, including his role as a Tax Partner in the Des Moines office of Deloitte & Touche.
Garett Sleichter, Partner, Corporate and Securities at Rutan & Tucker, represents public and private clients in a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting, securities and capital markets, corporate finance, and general company representation.
An Tran started his public service career with the County of Orange in 1998 and has worked in various county departments including the Social Services Agency, Health Care Agency, County Executive Office/County Budget Office, and OC Waste & Recycling. He was appointed to the role of the Orange County Social Services Agency Director in August 2022.
Each Board member will serve a three-year term.
