On The Move: MVE + Partners Promotes Two New Principals

MVE + Partners, a leading architectural, design and planning firm, has announced the promotion of Pieter Berger and Terrence Seah, NCARB, to Principal. Each has more than 15 years of experience.

Berger is a talented designer who’s created many of the firm’s notable mixed-use, residential, and international projects. As Design Director of the Irvine Office, he explores unique and innovative solutions creating timeless design with sensitivities to context, materiality, and client goals. His projects include The Residences at Pacific City, Mandarin Oriental Residences Beverly Hills, and The Ritz Carlton Residences Newport Beach. He’s a volunteer mentor for architecture students and holds a B.A. in Architecture with Honors from U.C. Berkeley.

Seah is an experienced architect who leads many of the firm’s large scale, complex, urban, mixed-use projects with an emphasis on bringing a design vision to constructable reality. As Director of MVE’s San Francisco Studio, he’s passionate in leading collaborative teams on multifamily, mixed-use, and urban-infill assignments, bringing extensive knowledge in the areas of building systems and technical coordination towards management of complex large-scale projects. Seah holds two Masters’ degrees from U.C. Berkeley (in Architecture and Structural Engineering). His Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering & Material Science is from Cornell.
