Buchanan Street Partners, a nationally recognized real estate investment management firm based in Newport Beach, California that focuses on value-investing in commercial, multifamily and self-storage direct ownership and in making debt investments, has announced the hiring of Trevor Schuesler.
Trevor Schuesler joined Buchanan as Executive Vice President, Investor Relations and is responsible for leading the firm’s Investor Relations team as it relates to outreach, marketing, fundraising, reporting, and overall client management process. Mr. Schuesler has 16 years of experience in the investment industry, working as both a capital allocator and capital raiser for asset managers, family offices, and investment consultants.
Previously he was an Investment Director at Kairos Investment Management Company, a private equity real estate firm focused on equity, debt, and impact oriented real estate strategies. Mr. Schuesler was also Vice President, Institutional Relations at Research Affiliates, Director of Business Development at Carmelina Capital Partners, and Director of Research at Canterbury Consulting. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. from California State University, Long Beach and is a CFA Charterholder.
Trevor is an Orange County native having grown up in Huntington Beach. He is a proud husband and father of three. He enjoys surfing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
