Casanova Pendrill, a Costa Mesa Hispanic advertising agency that is part of New York-based Interpublic Group of Cos., promoted Karen Treydte to vice president and director of media services. Treydte previously worked at New York-based Conill Advertising Inc. before joining Casanova Pendrill in 2008. Elisa Weinstock also was promoted to vice president and chief creative officer.

ARTS

The board of Laguna Art Museum elected Marshall Eichenauer as treasurer. He is the owner and managing partner of Newport Beach-based Sagent Wealth Management.

BANKING

Roger Palley joined Irvine-based First Foundation Inc. as managing director of equity investments. In the 1980s, Palley and Chet Needelman started Palley-Needelman Asset Management, which for a time was the largest independent money manager in the county. Palley previously was a managing director in Newport Beach for New York-based Neuberger Berman Group LLC.

EMPLOYMENT

Barry Lieberman was hired as vice president of marketing at Irvine-based Cerius Interim Executive Solutions, which places executives at companies on a short-term basis. Lieberman has more than 27 years of experience in sales and marketing.

GOVERNMENT

San Juan Capistrano promoted Maria Morris to city clerk. Morris previously served as acting city clerk while she completed training as a certified municipal clerk. She also is a member of the City Clerks Association of California.

LAW

McDermott Will & Emery LLP promoted Todd Hales to partner at its Irvine office. Hales focuses on intellectual property prosecution, management and counseling.

Latham & Watkins LLP named Michael De Vries and Wesley Holmes partners in its Costa Mesa office. De Vries is a patent lawyer. Holmes is a corporate lawyer representing private and public companies.

MANUFACTURING

Sam Kilgore was hired as director of innovation at the Irvine office of San Francisco-based Classic Foods Inc. Kilgore earned his master’s in food science from Chapman University in Orange.

Yorba Linda’s Vycon Inc., a maker of a flywheel device used to generate backup power, promoted Dann McKeraghan to vice president of sales. He previously was Vycon’s director of sales for North America and has been with the company for the past year.
