OC Wine & Spirit Fest Returns

The OC Wine & Spirit Fest is returning May 7, held this year at Giracci Vineyards & Farms in Silverado Canyon.

Silverado Canyon was devastated with fires and mudslides, and the fires surrounded the winery, destroying one of the structures, but thankfully things have come back to life in the area.

According to the folks at Giracci Vineyards, the OC Wine & Spirit Festival was created to bring a modern tasting experience to the people of Orange County with luxe vibes and a laid-back coastal attitude.

The focus is on fun, complemented by tastings that will include wine, craft beer, spirits, hard seltzers, and more. Giracci Vineyards & Farms is surrounded by scenic landscaping with a dash of history and a touch of rustic charm.

This is a charity-driven event, with proceeds split between four charities: JDRF (the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Type 1 diabetes research), Freedom 13 benefiting 13 marines that were killed in Afghanistan and their families, Noble Vikings (raising funds for several different charities), and GiGi’s Playhouse, focused on supporting Down Syndrome and their families.

More than 20 winers are set to offer tastings including A Stone’s Throw Winery, Giracci Vineyards & Farms, Cowboy Canyon Winery, Rancho Capistrano Winery, Frisby Cellars, Bianchi Wines, and many more.

A handful of food trucks, spirits producers, vendors and community booths will also be at the event.
